Meet Japanese toilets. This is the toilet in my host family's house. I was sneaky for you guys and brought my camera into the bathroom one night so I could make this video. Oh the things I do for you! I kinda wished I had some footage of public restrooms--there are plenty gross ones in Osaka. Bleh. Super glad Kansai Gaidai is more modern than the train stations in that respect. Sorry for the crapness once again. Next video should be on bathtubs and showers. Enjoy!

oh. those are? ... oh. those are? traditional toilets. not all schools have modern toilets. the teachers have the high tech toilets though in the staff bathroom. you have to have strong legs to use the traditional ones though.

Costco tried to ... Costco tried to sell the Japan style water wash toilet lid attachment for only $199.00. I wanted to buy it so bad, i did, really The only? problem is, American home builders did not place an electric outlet behind the toilet. So despite the fact that I want one. I am not prepared to pay the $1200 fee to wire and replace the dry wall to instal a plug behind the commode. What a shame because they really are one of the most civilized inventions ever!

well it's not the ... well it's not the only one, but most of people choose Tokyo because it's the most popular, biggest city in Japan and is a tourist place too...soo...it's logically that he said Tokyo, but...the other side of this is? that he doesn't know any other. It's like for foreigners in USA, the most common city what comes in head when we hear USA is New York, like they would know any other, but still knowing that it's not the only city, it's because it's head-city.

Tokyo's not the ... Tokyo's not the only city in Japan, you know. XD My Japanese is pretty good, but most exchange programs at Japanese universities don't require you to speak English because they often have programs in English, but you should be able to speak at least a little so you can get around. But honestly, you're asking the wrong person about these things,? your uni will have the most information.
